How we score
Every clinic is scored on the same 4 criteria, with the weights below. The weights are published because a ranking whose rubric is private is just an opinion with a number on it.

| Price & value | 25% | The lowest published recurring monthly rate, compared only against clinics with the same pricing shape. A flat all-in price and a membership-plus-medication price are not comparable numbers, so they are not scored against each other. |
| Clinical oversight | 30% | What a reader can verify about who prescribes and who monitors: named clinicians and credentials, whether a licensed review happens before anything ships, whether a pharmacy is named, and what ongoing management is described. |
| Treatment options | 20% | How many molecules and how many routes are actually available — semaglutide and tirzepatide, injection and oral — and whether brand-name medication can be had at all. |
| Transparency & trust | 25% | Whether the legal entity is named, whether cancellation and refund terms are published, whether the states served are listed, and whether anything the clinic displays is contradicted by an independent record or by another of its own pages. |

When a criterion can't be scored
It is not redistributed across the others. It is credited at the lowest value that clinic earned on any criterion we could score.
The reason is that redistributing the missing weight quietly turns an absence of evidence into a bonus. A clinic that publishes nothing about its clinicians would end up scored as though it were as good at that as at the things we could check. Where there is no evidence, we extend no benefit of the doubt.
What never affects a score
- Commission. Whether a clinic pays us, and how much, is not an input. It changes which clinic a “Visit” button points to, and that is disclosed on the page.
- How well a clinic markets itself. Self-reported ratings, award badges and testimonial counts are not evidence unless an independent record supports them.
- Whether we like the brand. Scores move when evidence moves, and the change is recorded.
How many clinics are scored right now
None. The rubric is published before the ranking exists, so you can judge the method independently of any result it produces.
