Is Sprout Health legit?

Sprout has an open FDA warning letter, and it names this clinic's own domain. FDA reviewed joinsprouthealth.com in August 2025 and alleges the site claimed “GLP-1 medications are FDA-approved and backed by extensive clinical research”. Compounded GLP-1 products are not FDA-approved, so the claim implies an approval they do not have (letter 715879, 9 September 2025, CDER; no closeout posted as of 30 September 2026). That is an allegation by FDA, not a court ruling, and it does not make Sprout a scam. But it is the single most checkable thing on this page, and it is about the same product you would be buying. Two further documented findings, both ours: the same customer review appears on two pages with a different price inside it (a headline price is the clinic's own claim and may change, but a testimonial is presented as a third party's words, so at least one version is not what that person wrote) and the price on the page our affiliate link lands on differs from the price on its public site. Read the record rather than the marketing.

What we found

• Regulatory action: FDA warning letter naming Sprout Health Partners LLC dba Sprout Health. Unlawful Sale of Unapproved and Misbranded Drugs to United States Consumers Over the Internet (Telehealth). Letter 715879, dated 2025-09-09. FDA states it "reviewed your website content at the internet address https://joinsprouthealth.com in August 2025", the same domain our link lands on, and observed that the site offers compounded drug products including semaglutide and tirzepatide. FDA quotes the site's claim that “GLP-1 medications are FDA-approved and backed by extensive clinical research” and alleges that compounded drug products are not FDA-approved, so the claim implies an approval the products do not have. FDA cites sections 502(a) and 502(bb) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act [21 U.S.C. §§ 352(a), 352(bb)] and sections 301(a) and 301(c) [21 U.S.C. §§ 331(a), 331(c)]. This is an allegation by FDA, not an adjudicated finding, and Sprout has not been shown to have been found liable by any court. No closeout letter has been posted.
• Our link's price is not the public price: Sprout Health shows a different price on our link than in public. Our affiliate path showed $110 (per-month) while its public page showed $299 (per-month). We score and publish the PUBLIC figure, and every price we show for it, including on our partner buttons, is that public figure. The price we show has to be the price a stranger sees.
• The same review, two different prices: Sprout Health shows the same customer review with two different prices. A review attributed to Joan (“Verified Customer”, dated May 17 2026 on the affiliate page) appears word for word on both surfaces, with one figure changed. On the page our affiliate link lands on it reads “…I pay a flat fee of $149 each month…”; on its public page the same review reads “…I pay a flat fee of $299. each month…”. Same name, same date, same wording including the same typos. At least one version is not what the customer wrote.
