HumeCare discloses some things unusually well — a real states-served exclusion list, a numeric BMI threshold, a properly worded compounded-drug disclaimer, and six genuine cited references — which makes what it gets wrong easier to see. (1) THE TRUSTPILOT SCORE ON THE SITE COMES FROM A PROFILE TRUSTPILOT HAS REMOVED. HumeCare's landers display "TrustScore 4.7/5 (2918)" — TrustScore is Trustpilot's own term — and its homepage displays "4.7/5 · 21479 reviews". Opened directly on 2026-09-10, trustpilot.com/review/humecare.com returns "This profile has been removed — The business you're trying to find goes against our guidelines and is no longer visible on Trustpilot." Trustpilot does not publish which guideline was broken, and we do not assert one. Two things are nonetheless true: the two review counts the site shows (21,479 and 2,918) cannot both be right, and neither can be checked, because the profile they point at no longer exists. The one Trustpilot profile in this family that does exist belongs to the sibling device company, Hume Health (humehealth.com), and it holds 3.6 out of 5 across 6,043 reviews — not 4.7, and about a body scanner rather than a weight-loss clinic. (2) THREE DIFFERENT MONEY-BACK GUARANTEES, ON THREE PAGES. The Terms of Service (§8A) offer a 90-Day Results Guarantee that pays out only if you achieve no measurable weight loss at all in 90 days. The homepage promises something much larger: "Lose 10% body weight or get your money back", over six months. The oral landing pages advertise a "180 days Money Back Promise". These are not three descriptions of one policy; they are three different thresholds over three different periods, and only the narrowest of them is in the contract you agree to. (3) TWO DIFFERENT CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICERS. The homepage names "Dr. Aaron Carter, MD — Chief Medical Officer". The program page at /pages/gs-microdose-glp1-rx names "Dr. Noah Davis — HUMECARE'S CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER". Both pages were live on the same day. (4) A PUBLISHED PAGE WITH THE PRICE STILL A PLACEHOLDER. /pages/humecare-lp2 is live and reads "From $[X]/mo. FSA/HSA eligible. Cancel anytime." — an unfilled template token where the price belongs. (5) HUMECARE PUBLISHES ITS OWN COMPARISON REVIEW, AND WINS IT. /pages/best-glp-1-weight-loss-programs is styled as independent research — "We Compared the 4 Most Popular GLP-1 Weight-Loss Programs", by-lined to "Sophia Bennett, Health Writer & Metabolic Health Researcher" — and ranks Hume Care #1 ahead of Ro, Hers and TrimRx. To its credit the page is headed "Advertorial Disclaimer", which is more than most such pages carry. (6) THE FAQ ANSWERS THE WRONG QUESTIONS. On the program page, "What is the cost of the weight loss program?" is answered with the HSA/FSA answer, "Do you accept insurance?" is answered with the price, and "How old do I have to be to participate?" is answered with weight-loss results. The page that should state the cost does not answer the cost question. (7) NO PHARMACY, NO MEDICAL GROUP, NO CERTIFICATION NAMED. The Terms refer throughout to a "Clinical Network" that is never named, medication is "fulfilled through a licensed pharmacy partner" that is never named, and there is no LegitScript certificate number anywhere. The only address published is 8 The Green #24578, Dover, DE 19901 — a registered-agent mail drop, not a clinic. (8) THE FREE DEVICE IS REAL, AND THE $350 IS THE TOP OF ITS OWN PRICE RANGE. HumeCare describes the included Hume Pod as "a $350 device". On the manufacturer's own store, humehealth.com, "The Hume Pod" lists at $352.00 — so the claim is close to honest against list price. The same store also sells the same device at $229.00 today, marked down from $299.00. The device is genuinely included and genuinely worth having; $350 is simply the most flattering of several live numbers for it. WHAT WE CHECKED AND FOUND CLEAN: the FDA warning-letter database returns no letter for Hume Care or Hume Health (searched fda.gov directly, 2026-09-10; the single "hume" hit is an orthopaedics company matched on an unrelated word).
